Mouse Alpha-2A adrenergic receptor (Adra2a) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Alpha-2A adrenergic receptor (Adra2A) in research samples. It is reactive with mouse samples and accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with specificity for both natural and recombinant mouse Alpha-2A adrenergic receptor.

According to the manufacturer, the assay covers a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. Reproducibility is supported by an intra-assay CV of 5.3% and an inter-assay CV of 7.5%. Reported recovery is 96% (range 90–102) for serum and 98% (range 92–104) for plasma. Linearity has been evaluated at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma matrices. The target protein is catalogued at UniProt Q01338 (NCBI Gene ID 11551), described as a multi-pass G-protein coupled receptor located at the cell membrane, with a reported molecular weight of 48,865 Da.
