Mouse Alpha-1B-glycoprotein (A1bg) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Alpha-1B-glycoprotein (A1BG), also known as Alpha-1-B glycoprotein. The assay is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and it employs a colorimetric detection method with absorbance read at 450 nm. Specificity has been established for natural and recombinant mouse Alpha-1B-glycoprotein.

The assay has a detection range of 1.56-100 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.83 ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is 7.8% CV and inter-assay precision is 9.5% CV. Spike-and-recovery performance has been validated in serum (average 86%, range 80-92%) and plasma (average 88%, range 82-94%). Linearity has been demonstrated across dilution factors from 1:2 to 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma matrices.

A1BG is a secreted glycoprotein implicated in immune response regulation and cell adhesion, with dysregulation linked to inflammatory diseases, cancer and metabolic disorders. The associated mouse UniProt entry is Q19LI2, and the protein has a reported molecular weight of 56,554 Da. The kit is intended for research use only and is suited to cell biology research.
