Mouse Allograft inflammatory factor 1 (Aif1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of mouse Allograft Inflammatory Factor 1 (AIF1), also known as Ionized calcium-binding adapter molecule 1 or Iba1. The assay is reactive with mouse samples and recognises natural and recombinant mouse AIF1, with applicability to serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

AIF1 is an actin-binding protein that regulates inflammatory responses and is implicated in RAC signalling, phagocytosis, macrophage activation, vascular inflammation and lymphocyte migration. The kit delivers a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. Reported precision values are 6.8% intra-assay CV and 9.3% inter-assay CV. Linearity has been characterised across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma dilutions, and recovery is 105% (range 99–111%) for serum and 107% (range 101–113%) for plasma.
