The Assay Genie Mouse ALPL ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of tissue-nonspecific alkaline phosphatase, a glycosyl-phosphatidylinositol-anchored ectoenzyme expressed on osteoblasts, hepatocytes, and renal proximal tubule cells. Investigators deploy this microplate-based immunoassay to track bone mineralization activity in models of osteoporosis, monitor hepatobiliary injury markers in liver disease studies, and quantify tubular dysfunction biomarkers in nephrotoxicology research. Each kit ships with a pre-coated capture plate, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, reference standards, assay diluent, and wash concentrate. The protocol uses a two-antibody binding configuration and produces a chromogenic signal read on a standard microplate reader. Sample volume of 100 µL is loaded per well, validated for serum-type specimens, plasma preparations, and tissue homogenate matrices. Reconstituted standards and diluted samples are incubated, washed, and developed following the enclosed protocol insert. Store the unopened kit refrigerated at 4 degrees C; all reagents should equilibrate to room temperature before running the assay. For research use only; not intended for diagnostic procedures.
