Mouse Aldolase C, Fructose Bisphosphate (ALDOC) ELISA Kit

ALDOC is the brain-enriched isoform of fructose-bisphosphate aldolase, the glycolytic enzyme that cleaves fructose 1,6-bisphosphate into dihydroxyacetone phosphate and glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate during glycolysis. Because it is preferentially expressed in cerebellar Purkinje cells, in hippocampal neurons, and in glial populations, ALDOC is widely used as a tissue-specific marker in mouse neuroscience research, including studies of cerebellar development, gliomagenesis, and central nervous system metabolism.

The kit is configured for in vitro measurement of mouse ALDOC and is intended for research use only.
