Mouse Alanine aminotransferase 2 (Gpt2) ELISA Kit

Using a colorimetric detection method, it demonstrates high sensitivity and specificity for natural and recombinant mouse Alanine aminotransferase 2, providing reliable and reproducible results for research in Cell Biology.

The kit operates with a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.168ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is 5.4% CV and inter-assay precision is 8.1% CV. Linearity across dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16) showed serum values spanning 85-119%, EDTA plasma 107-123%, and heparin plasma 94-122%. Recovery was 99-111% for serum (average 105%) and 101-113% for plasma (average 107%). The target enzyme, Gpt2, is a homodimer that catalyzes the reversible transamination between alanine and 2-oxoglutarate to form pyruvate and glutamate, and plays a role in amino acid metabolism predominantly in the liver and kidneys.

Gpt2 is also referred to as Glutamate pyruvate transaminase 2, Glutamic--alanine transaminase 2, Glutamic--pyruvic transaminase 2, GPT 2, ALT2 and Aat2 (UniProt: Q8BGT5). For research use only.
