Mouse AKR1B1/Aldose reductase ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA, double-antibody kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse AKR1B1 (aldose reductase). The assay accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples, and uses a colorimetric detection method read at 450 nm.

Reported analytical performance includes a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and an assay range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions is given as 83-98%, 82-99%, and 91-104% for serum (n=5); 84-101%, 81-100%, and 85-105% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 83-100%, 84-100%, and 86-102% for heparin plasma (n=5). Spike-recovery averages are 94% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma, and 94% for heparin plasma. The biotin-labeled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) workflow uses 37 °C incubations of 90, 60, and 30 minutes, followed by TMB colour development for 10–20 minutes in the dark. Components include a dismountable pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled antibody (100X), HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (SABC, 100X), TMB substrate, sample dilution buffer, antibody dilution buffer, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer (25X), plate sealer, and a technical manual. The kit is stored at 2-8 °C for 12 months.
