Designed for the precise measurement of AIMP1 in mouse samples, this Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie uses a double antibody format and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. AIMP1, also known as aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase complex-interacting multifunctional protein 1, plays roles in inflammation, immune response, and cell proliferation, and its dysregulation has been linked to inflammatory diseases, cancer, and autoimmune disorders, supporting its use as a biomarker in cardiovascular research.

The assay has a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a measurable range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL. Linearity assessed at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions returned 88-104%, 82-96% and 87-92% in serum, 88-104%, 82-100% and 84-94% in EDTA plasma, and 86-100%, 82-93% and 81-95% in heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery testing gave ranges of 86-105% (average 95) in serum, 85-104% (average 93) in EDTA plasma, and 87-104% (average 92) in heparin plasma. The kit should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
