Mouse Aggrecan ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a sandwich ELISA kit designed for the precise measurement of aggrecan levels in mouse samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. Aggrecan is a key component of the extracellular matrix in cartilage and other connective tissues, where it plays a critical role in maintaining tissue structure and function. Dysregulation of aggrecan expression is associated with various musculoskeletal disorders, making it a crucial biomarker for investigating these conditions and developing potential therapeutic interventions.

The kit and its components are stored at 2-8°C for up to 12 months.

Linearity has been validated across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. For serum (n=5), linearity was 90-98% at 1:2, 88-100% at 1:4, and 85-100% at 1:8. EDTA plasma (n=5) showed 84-99% at 1:2, 83-99% at 1:4, and 82-96% at 1:8. Heparin plasma (n=5) showed 83-93% at 1:2, 80-93% at 1:4, and 86-100% at 1:8. Recovery ranges were 91-104% (average 99%) for serum, 90-104% (average 96%) for EDTA plasma, and 95-105% (average 99%) for heparin plasma.
