Mouse Advanced glycation end-product (AGE) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of advanced glycation end-product (AGE) levels in mouse samples. It is intended for research use only and uses a colorimetric detection method with reactivity specific to mouse specimens.

The kit accepts a range of sample types, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and is specific for both natural and recombinant mouse AGE. Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.78-50ng/ml, a sensitivity of 0.412ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 7.4% and an inter-assay CV of 9.8%. Recovery has been measured at an average of 106% (range 100-112%) in serum and 108% (range 102-114%) in plasma.

AGE molecules are formed through the non-enzymatic reaction of sugars with proteins, and their accumulation is associated with aging, diabetes and other chronic diseases, making reliable measurement valuable for glycation-related research.
