Mouse Adra2a/Alpha-2A adrenergic receptor ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA (double-antibody) from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of the ADRA2A (Alpha-2A adrenergic receptor) in mouse biological samples. Validated matrices include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples, with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm following TMB substrate development.

Reported linearity spans 82–102% across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2 to 1:8, while recovery averages 95–97% across the same matrices (serum 90–104%, EDTA plasma 86–104%, heparin plasma 85–104%). The protocol uses primary incubation at 37°C, biotinylated detection antibody binding, HRP-Streptavidin signal generation and a 10–20 minute TMB development step; the kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

ADRA2A is described as a key player in regulation of the sympathetic nervous system, affecting blood pressure, heart rate and neurotransmitter release.
