Mouse ADP/ATP translocase 2 (Slc25a5) ELISA Kit

The kit detects both natural and recombinant mouse ADP/ATP translocase 2, with a reported detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.09 ng/mL. Precision is given as an intra-assay CV of 8.4% and an inter-assay CV of 10.0%. Recovery has been evaluated in serum (average 97%, range 91-103%) and plasma (average 99%, range 93-105%), with linearity assessed across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma dilutions.

ADP/ATP translocase 2 is a multi-pass inner membrane protein of the mitochondrion (Uniprot P51881) that catalyzes the exchange of cytoplasmic ADP with mitochondrial ATP across the mitochondrial inner membrane, supporting cellular energy metabolism. It also functions as a homodimer and as a component of the mitotic spindle-associated MMXD complex, which includes CIAO1, ERCC2, FAM96B, MMS19, and SLC25A5, and may play a role in chromosome segregation.
