Description
A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of Adenosine Receptor A2A (ADORA2A) in mouse samples. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format and detects the target colorimetrically by measuring absorbance at 450 nm, making it suitable for research into adenosine signalling and its roles in immune response, neurotransmission and inflammation.
The assay is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with reactivity specific to mouse. Reported performance figures include a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. Reported linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions (n = 5) is 91-104%, 89-101% and 86-102% for serum; 83-96%, 86-99% and 86-96% for EDTA plasma; and 90-100%, 82-92% and 81-97% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery ranges across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma are 85-102% (average 96%), 86-103% (average 94%) and 90-104% (average 100%), respectively.
The procedure involves incubating standards and samples on the pre-coated plate at 37°C for 90 minutes, binding with a biotin-labelled detection antibody at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin incubation at 37°C for 30 minutes, and TMB colour development in the dark for 10-20 minutes. Kits should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. The target is also known as Adora2a and corresponds to Uniprot entry Q60613.
