Mouse Adenosylhomocysteinase/AHCY ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA is intended for the quantitative measurement of mouse Adenosylhomocysteinase (AHCY) in research samples. AHCY plays a central role in methionine metabolism and in maintaining cellular methylation balance, and its dysregulation has been associated with cancer, cardiovascular disease, and liver disorders, making it a useful target for studies of disease pathogenesis and potential therapeutic intervention.

The assay accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and uses a colorimetric detection method based on TMB substrate with absorbance read at 450 nm. Linearity has been verified in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions, with average recoveries of 97%, 95%, and 96% respectively. Reagents should be stored at 2-8°C, where the kit remains stable for 12 months.
