Mouse Adenosylhomocysteinase (Ahcy) ELISA Kit

This colorimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantification of mouse Adenosylhomocysteinase (AHCY) in biological samples. It is reactive with mouse samples and is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The assay has a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL. Linearity and recovery data are provided for serum and plasma samples. The kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

AHCY is described in the accompanying documentation as playing a key role in the control of methylations via regulation of the intracellular concentration of adenosylhomocysteine, a competitive inhibitor of S-adenosyl-L-methionine-dependent methyl transferase reactions. Dysregulation of AHCY has been linked to cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and liver disorders.
