Mouse Adenosine deaminase (Ada) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, the Mouse Adenosine Deaminase (ADA) ELISA Kit is a Sandwich-format immunoassay developed for the precise quantification of ADA in mouse serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants, and also validated for tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The target enzyme, adenosine aminohydrolase, catalyses the hydrolytic deamination of adenosine and 2-deoxyadenosine and plays an important role in purine metabolism and adenosine homeostasis. Abnormal ADA levels have been linked to autoimmune disorders, immunodeficiency diseases, and cancer, making the enzyme a useful biomarker for research into these conditions. The assay detects both natural and recombinant mouse adenosine deaminase (UniProt P03958) and is intended for research use only.

Reported analytical performance includes a detection range of 78-5000 pg/mL, a sensitivity of 40.5 pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 7.4%, and an inter-assay CV of 9.7%. Linearity was demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for serum (104-115%, 97-107%, 106-116%, 97-106%), EDTA plasma (105-113%, 89-102%, 106-118%, 92-102%) and heparin plasma (98-109%, 102-112%, 104-117%, 93-101%), each tested at n=5. Spike-and-recovery testing returned an average of 83% (range 80-89%) for serum and 85% (range 80-91%) for plasma.
