Mouse Acvr2a/Activin receptor type-2A ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of Activin Receptor Type 2A (ACVR2A) in mouse samples. It uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, and is suited to research applications investigating the activin signaling pathway, which plays a critical role in regulating cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis. ACVR2A dysregulation has been implicated in cancer, inflammatory disorders, and developmental abnormalities.

The kit is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The reported sensitivity is 0.188 ng/mL with an assay range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum (98-105% at 1:2, 86-99% at 1:4, 88-102% at 1:8), EDTA plasma (82-95%, 83-101%, 86-99%), and heparin plasma (80-100%, 81-100%, 86-99%). Recovery averages are 97% for serum (range 92-102%), 94% for EDTA plasma (range 86-104%), and 98% for heparin plasma (range 92-105%). Unopened kits should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The workflow involves reagent equilibration to room temperature, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after adding stop solution.
