Description
A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie, intended for the quantitative measurement of Actin, alpha skeletal muscle (also known as Alpha-actin-1 or ACTA1) in mouse samples. The assay is reactive with mouse and accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, detecting both natural and recombinant mouse ACTA1.
The manufacturer reports a detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.41ng/mL. ACTA1 is a highly conserved cytoskeletal protein involved in skeletal muscle contraction, and its dysregulation is associated with muscle disorders including nemaline myopathy and congenital fiber-type disproportion.
