Mouse ACE/Angiotensin Converting Enzyme 1 ELISA Kit

Designed for the accurate quantification of ACE levels in mouse samples, this Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie offers high sensitivity and specificity for research applications. The kit is intended for measuring Angiotensin Converting Enzyme 1 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate and other liquid samples from mouse models, with a reported sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. ACE plays a key role in the renin-angiotensin system, regulating blood pressure and fluid balance, and its dysregulation has been linked to hypertension, cardiovascular disease and renal disorders, making the kit relevant to studies in cardiovascular biology, pharmacology and drug development.

The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with a biotin-labeled detection antibody and HRP-streptavidin binding, followed by TMB substrate development and absorbance reading at 450 nm, with kit components stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. Reported linearity for serum (n=5) ranges from 87–96% at 1:2, 85–98% at 1:4 and 80–100% at 1:8 dilution; EDTA plasma (n=5) shows 85–97%, 85–101% and 85–93% at the same dilutions; heparin plasma (n=5) shows 88–104%, 85–99% and 80–95%. Spike-and-recovery averages are 92% for serum, 99% for EDTA plasma and 98% for heparin plasma.
