Designed and manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the accurate measurement of mouse A disintegrin and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin motifs 13 (ADAMTS13). The assay is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and is specific for both natural and recombinant mouse ADAMTS13 (UniProt Q769J6).

ADAMTS13 is a key enzyme that cleaves von Willebrand factor (vWF) multimers in plasma into smaller forms, thereby controlling vWF-mediated platelet thrombus formation. Dysregulation of ADAMTS13 has been implicated in various thrombotic and inflammatory diseases, making it an important target for research and potential therapeutic interventions.

Performance characteristics reported by the manufacturer include a detection range of 78-5000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 39.5 pg/mL. Intra-assay precision is given as 5.8% CV and inter-assay precision as 9.2% CV. Linearity has been evaluated at dilutions of 1:2 to 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (N=5 per matrix), with values across dilutions ranging 93-117% in serum, 95-123% in EDTA plasma and 101-119% in heparin plasma.
