Mouse 2',3'-cyclic-nucleotide 3'-phosphodiesterase (Cnp) ELISA Kit

This solid-phase Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is intended for the quantitative detection of mouse 2',3'-cyclic-nucleotide 3'-phosphodiesterase (CNP), also known by the synonym Cnp1. The colorimetric assay is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. CNP is described as the third most abundant protein in central nervous system myelin and may participate in RNA metabolism in the myelinating cell, making it a relevant target for neuroscience research into myelination and related disorders.

Performance characteristics reported by the manufacturer include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. Precision is documented with an intra-assay CV of 5.5% and an inter-assay CV of 7.9%. Linearity has been verified across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum (88–112%), EDTA plasma (85–117%) and heparin plasma (91–121%). Spike-and-recovery values fall between 91–103% in serum (average 97%) and 93–105% in plasma (average 99%). The kit shows specificity for natural and recombinant mouse 2',3'-cyclic-nucleotide 3'-phosphodiesterase.
