Mouse 14-3-3 protein theta (Ywhaq) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is intended for research use only and is designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse 14-3-3 protein theta (Ywhaq), also known as 14-3-3 protein tau. The target is an adapter protein implicated in the regulation of a broad spectrum of both general and specialized signaling pathways, binding a large number of partners, usually by recognition of a phosphoserine or phosphothreonine motif, with binding generally resulting in modulation of the activity of the binding partner, and negatively regulating the kinase activity of PDPK1.

Validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, the assay specifically detects natural and recombinant mouse 14-3-3 protein theta using a colorimetric detection method. The detection range is 0.78-50ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.47ng/mL. Precision data report an intra-assay CV of 4.9% and an inter-assay CV of 7.4%. Average recovery is 83% (range 80-89) in serum and 85% (range 80-91) in plasma. The 14-3-3 theta protein localizes to the cytoplasm, and the kit is suited to cancer research applications.
