Mouse 10 kDa heat shock protein, mitochondrial (Hspe1) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of mouse 10 kDa heat shock protein, mitochondrial (Hspe1) in serum, plasma, saliva, urine, cell culture supernatant, tissue samples and other related biological fluids. The microplate is pre-coated with a specific capture antibody and uses a biotinylated detection antibody with Avidin-HRP conjugate, with the enzymatic reaction terminated and absorbance read spectrophotometrically at 450 nm.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 7.8-500 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 4.07 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.4% and an inter-assay CV of 6.7%. The kit shows specificity for natural and recombinant mouse 10 kDa heat shock protein, mitochondrial. Hspe1, also known as Hsp10, 10 kDa chaperonin, Chaperonin 10 or CPN10, is a co-chaperonin localised to the mitochondrion matrix that works together with Hsp60 to facilitate the correct folding of imported proteins, with a reported molecular weight of 10,963 Da and is listed in the epigenetics research area.

Spike-and-recovery data report an average of 89% (range 83-95%) for serum and 91% (range 85-97%) for plasma. Linearity across dilutions 1:2 to 1:16 is reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (N=5 each). For research use only.
