Monkey Transforming Growth Factor Beta 1 (TGFb1) ELISA Kit

This 96-assay colorimetric ELISA from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of transforming growth factor beta 1 in non-human primate biological samples. TGF-β1 is a pleiotropic cytokine central to fibrotic signaling, immune tolerance, and epithelial-mesenchymal transition, and is frequently quantified in studies of pulmonary fibrosis, hepatic injury, renal disease, tumor microenvironment, and regenerative medicine using in vitro cell culture models and in vivo primate work.

Each kit contains a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized recombinant standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer concentrate, TMB substrate, and stop solution. The protocol typically uses 50-100 µL sample per well with overnight or 2-hour incubation at room temperature. Reagents should be refrigerated upon arrival and equilibrated to room temperature before the assay; standards and detection antibody require storage at -20°C in aliquots to limit freeze-thaw damage.

The assay shows no significant cross-reactivity with related TGF-β isoforms (TGF-β2, TGF-β3) under standard conditions, and is intended for research use only.
