Quantitative measurement of tissue plasminogen activator in non-human primate research specimens is the purpose of this immunoassay kit from Assay Genie. Tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) is a serine protease that initiates fibrinolysis by converting plasminogen to plasmin, and quantifying its release supports studies of endothelial function, clot dissolution, stroke models, and thrombotic disorder mechanisms.
Built around an absorbance-based readout on a standard microplate, the kit ships with pre-coated wells, detection antibody, calibrated standards, wash buffer, and substrate sufficient for the full plate run. The workflow follows conventional incubation and wash steps, with absorbance values recorded on a standard plate reader. Storage at refrigerated temperatures preserves reagent activity across the kit's shelf life.
Applied to monkey samples from common primate research models, this tPA reagent complements cardiovascular and hemostasis programs that rely on non-human primate studies of vascular injury and fibrinolytic therapy.
