Monkey TNF alpha ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the precise measurement of TNF-alpha levels in monkey serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm, offering high sensitivity and specificity along with reproducible quantification of this key cytokine involved in inflammation, immune response, and cell survival.

The kit demonstrates a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL across a working range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Linearity testing in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples shows recovery ranges of 82-100%, 82-98%, and 85-100% respectively at a 1:2 dilution. Spiked-sample recovery validation yields average values of 95% for serum, 93% for EDTA plasma, and 90% for heparin plasma. Abnormal levels of TNF-alpha have been associated with various diseases such as autoimmune disorders, inflammatory conditions, and cancer, supporting research applications in these disease areas and potential therapeutic development.

Components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. The protocol involves equilibrating reagents to room temperature, primary incubation at 37°C for antigen binding, sequential incubations with biotin-labeled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate development in the dark, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after stop solution addition.
