Monkey TLR2/Toll-like receptor 2 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the precise quantification of Toll-like Receptor 2 (TLR2) in monkey samples using a double-antibody detection method. TLR2 is described as a key component of the innate immune system, recognising pathogen-associated molecular patterns and initiating immune responses, with dysregulation linked to inflammatory diseases, autoimmune disorders and infections.

The assay has a stated sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with storage at 2–8°C for 12 months. Reported linearity for serum (n=5) spans 92–105%, 89–99% and 88–98% at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, while recovery averages 98% for serum, 93% for EDTA plasma and 91% for heparin plasma.

The workflow involves equilibrating reagents, a 37°C primary incubation of 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution addition.
