Quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie that quantifies Receptor Activator of Nuclear Factor Kappa B Ligand (RANKL) in non-human primate research specimens. RANKL, also designated TNFSF11, CD254, TRANCE, or osteoclast differentiation factor, is a TNF-family cytokine that pairs with its receptor RANK on osteoclast precursors to drive osteoclastogenesis, bone resorption, and immune cell signaling, and it is a frequent target in studies of osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, periodontal disease, metastatic bone lesions, and immune regulation. The kit is built around a pre-coated microplate and uses a sandwich-format antibody pair with colorimetric readout, with all reagents supplied ready to use alongside a calibrated standard curve so investigators can interpolate unknowns directly. Validated matrices include serum, citrated plasma, EDTA plasma, and conditioned medium harvested from osteoblast or bone marrow stromal co-cultures, covering the most common specimens drawn in translational primate research. Reagents are shipped on cold packs and should remain refrigerated on arrival; allow the sealed plate and concentrated buffers to equilibrate to room temperature before opening. Each kit provides the pre-coated microwell plate, assay diluent, calibrated standards, detection antibody, enzyme conjugate, wash concentrate, and chromogenic substrate needed to complete the run, together with a protocol that recommends an appropriate dilution series for unknown samples and parallelism testing to confirm matrix behavior. Intended for research use only, the protocol supports bone, immunology, and dental research laboratories studying primate models of skeletal or inflammatory disease.
