Monkey Myoglobin/MYO ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers this Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit for the quantitative detection of Myoglobin (MYO) in monkey samples. Reactivity is specified for monkey analytes, and the kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Colorimetric detection is achieved through a TMB substrate step with absorbance measured at 450 nm, supporting quantification across a working range of 1.563–100 ng/mL and a reported sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL.

Performance has been characterised by linearity testing across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8) in serum (91–105%, 88–103%, 88–105%), EDTA plasma (82–101%, 89–101%, 83–99%) and heparin plasma (88–100%, 82–94%, 85–100%). Spike-and-recovery averages were 95% for serum, 91% for EDTA plasma and 99% for heparin plasma. The assay workflow includes plate and reagent equilibration, a 37°C primary incubation for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) incubation for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and a stop reaction read immediately at 450 nm. Unopened components are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
