Monkey mmp 2 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a sandwich ELISA kit designed for the quantitative detection of Matrix Metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2) in monkey samples. The kit uses a double antibody sandwich format and is intended for research applications including the study of tissue remodeling, cell migration, and angiogenesis, where abnormal MMP-2 levels have been linked to pathologies such as cancer, arthritis, and cardiovascular diseases. The detection method is colorimetric, with absorbance read at 450 nm following TMB substrate development.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay has a reported sensitivity of 0.375 ng/mL and a working range of 0.625-40 ng/mL. Components should be stored at 2-8°C for up to 12 months. Linearity has been demonstrated across serum (86-98%, 85-92%, 81-94% at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions), EDTA plasma (93-103%, 84-93%, 80-99%) and heparin plasma (91-96%, 84-97%, 82-99%). Recovery ranges were 87-104% (average 93%) for serum, 86-105% (average 96%) for EDTA plasma, and 89-104% (average 95%) for heparin plasma. The assay procedure involves equilibrating reagents, a primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution addition.
