Monkey MCP-1/CCL2 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of MCP-1 (CCL2) in monkey serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The double antibody sandwich format uses colorimetric detection, with a sensitivity of 37.5 pg/mL and a measuring range of 62.5-4000 pg/mL.

Linearity was validated at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions: serum 87-96%, 87-96%, and 81-97%; EDTA plasma 85-105%, 86-101%, and 81-98%; heparin plasma 85-105%, 82-97%, and 87-100%. Average spike-and-recovery values were 97% for serum, 93% for EDTA plasma, and 90% for heparin plasma, with recovery ranges of 87-104%, 87-102%, and 85-96% respectively. All components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

MCP-1 (CCL2) is a key chemokine involved in recruiting monocytes and macrophages to sites of inflammation, and its dysregulation has been implicated in inflammatory diseases, making it a relevant biomarker for studying inflammatory processes and potential therapeutic interventions in monkey models.
