Monkey Interleukin 4 (IL-4) ELISA Kit

The Monkey Interleukin 4 (IL-4) ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of IL-4, an important Th2-associated cytokine that promotes B-cell class switching to IgE and modulates T-helper cell differentiation, in non-human primate research samples. This kit supports studies in vaccine immunology, infectious disease models, and inflammatory research using cynomolgus macaque, rhesus macaque, and related monkey species.

Supplied as a 96-well microplate format sandwich immunoassay, the kit includes pre-coated plates, lyophilised standards, biotinylated detection antibody, and streptavidin-HRP reagents. All components should be brought to room temperature before use and the kit stored refrigerated at 2-8 degrees C when not in use. For extended storage, individual reagents may be aliquoted and frozen to limit freeze-thaw degradation. The product is for research use only.

The assay accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and cell culture supernatants. A sample volume of 50 uL is pipetted per well alongside serial standard dilutions, and absorbance is measured on a standard microplate reader. The capture and detection antibodies are specific to monkey IL-4, with no significant cross-reactivity observed against related cytokines including IL-2, IL-10, and IL-13.
