Monkey IL-9 ELISA Kit (MKFI00043)

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of IL-9 (Interleukin 9) in monkey samples. It uses a double-antibody sandwich format with a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with monkey species.

The kit has a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a standard range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. It is intended for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and kits should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Reported linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 90-104%, 87-101% and 83-98% for serum (n=5); 90-101%, 84-97% and 82-96% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 87-104%, 90-98% and 81-96% for heparin plasma (n=5). Spike-and-recovery performance shows average recoveries of 95% (serum), 98% (EDTA plasma) and 92% (heparin plasma).

The workflow includes a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation, a 30-minute HRP-streptavidin binding step, 10-20 minutes of TMB substrate development in the dark, and a stop reaction read at 450 nm. IL-9 is also known by the synonyms Cytokine P40, HP40, P40 and T cell growth factor P40, and is a cytokine relevant to studies of allergic responses, autoimmune diseases and inflammatory disorders in monkey models.
