Monkey IL-8 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of IL-8 in monkey samples. It uses a colorimetric, double-antibody sandwich ELISA format and is reactive with monkey samples including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The kit offers a sensitivity of 4.688 pg/mL with a measurable range of 7.813–500 pg/mL. Reported linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions spans 86–105% for serum (n = 5), 83–96% for EDTA plasma (n = 5) and 80–98% for heparin plasma (n = 5). Recovery averages are 98% for serum, 95% for EDTA plasma and 94% for heparin plasma. Unopened components are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

The workflow follows a standard sandwich ELISA procedure: equilibrate reagents and the TMB substrate, load standards, samples and blanks onto the pre-coated plate, incubate at 37°C for 90 minutes to allow antigen binding, add the biotin-labelled detection antibody for 60 minutes, add HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes, develop with TMB substrate in the dark for 10–20 minutes, add stop solution and read absorbance at 450 nm.
