Monkey IL-6 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA Kit built on a double-antibody detection format for the quantitative measurement of Monkey Interleukin-6 (IL-6). The target is also referenced by the synonyms IL6, BSF2, HGF, HSF, IFNB2 and CDF, and the kit is reactive against monkey samples with a colorimetric readout.

Sensitivity is reported at 18.75pg/ml, with a working assay range of 31.25-2000pg/ml. Recommended sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. Precision has been characterised with an intra-assay coefficient of variation below 8% and an inter-assay coefficient of variation below 10%. The kit should be stored at 4°C, where it remains stable for 6 months.

IL-6 is classified as a cytokine with established roles in the immune response, inflammation and the regulation of cell growth and differentiation, and is described as a biomarker of interest in autoimmune disease, cancer and infectious disease. The kit is supplied for research use only.
