Monkey IL-4 ELISA Kit

Sandwich ELISA format from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of Interleukin-4 (IL-4) in monkey samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with monkey serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL.

Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Reported linearity at 1:2 dilution is 86-102% for serum (n=5), 83-96% for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 82-95% for heparin plasma (n=5). Recovery ranges from 88-102% (average 92%) for serum, 87-99% (average 94%) for EDTA plasma, and 88-101% (average 93%) for heparin plasma.

The procedure involves reagent equilibration, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after adding stop solution. IL-4 is a key cytokine involved in immune regulation, Th2 cell differentiation, and IgE production.
