Monkey IgM/Immunoglobulin M ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of Immunoglobulin M (IgM) in monkey samples. It detects IgM in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell/tissue lysate and other biological samples, delivering a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/ml across an assay range of 1.563-100 ng/ml. The kit is intended for storage at 2-8°C for 12 months.

IgM is the first antibody isotype produced during primary immune responses and serves as a critical marker of acute infection and early adaptive immunity. As a pentameric immunoglobulin, it activates classical complement pathway cascades and provides potent agglutination of pathogens, making it central to the clearance of bacteria, viruses, and parasites in nonhuman primates.

Reported linearity across dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8) is 91-104%, 82-99% and 82-98% for serum; 86-99%, 86-98% and 91-100% for EDTA plasma; and 85-101%, 83-97% and 88-95% for heparin plasma. Average recovery is 96% for serum (range 86-104%), 91% for EDTA plasma (range 86-102%) and 96% for heparin plasma (range 94-99%).
