Monkey IgG/Immunoglobulin G ELISA Kit

This colorimetric sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is intended for the quantitative measurement of Immunoglobulin G (IgG) in monkey serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with a reported sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and a working range of 1.563–100 ng/mL.

Linearity in serum (n = 5) ranges from 85–102% at 1:2, 87–97% at 1:4 and 80–99% at 1:8 dilution; EDTA plasma (n = 5) shows 88–98%, 82–95% and 85–97% at the same dilutions, while heparin plasma (n = 5) shows 91–98%, 92–101% and 82–98%. Mean recovery is 95% for serum, 93% for EDTA plasma and 93% for heparin plasma, with corresponding recovery ranges of 87–105%, 88–98% and 85–105%. The procedure involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate, loading standards and samples, incubating at 37°C for 90 minutes, adding biotin-labelled detection antibody (60 min), HRP-Streptavidin SABC (30 min), developing with TMB substrate in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and reading absorbance at 450 nm after stop solution addition. The kit should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
