Monkey IgE ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a sandwich ELISA kit designed for the quantitative detection of IgE (Immunoglobulin E) in monkey samples. Using a double-antibody sandwich ELISA format with colorimetric readout, the kit supports measurement of IgE in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The assay reports a sensitivity of 0.375 ng/mL and a working range of 0.625-40 ng/mL, and is described as a reliable, accurate, and reproducible tool for research into allergic reactions, asthma, and immune-related conditions in monkeys. IgE is an important antibody that plays a key role in allergic reactions and immune responses, and monitoring its levels can offer insights into allergic diseases and other immune-related conditions.

Assay performance has been characterised. Linearity in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma was demonstrated across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions (n=5), with overall ranges of 87-105% for serum, 82-101% for EDTA plasma, and 80-100% for heparin plasma. Recovery testing showed ranges of 93-100% (average 95%) in serum, 92-100% (average 96%) in EDTA plasma, and 86-99% (average 96%) in heparin plasma. The kit should be stored at 2-8°C for up to 12 months.
