Monkey IFN gamma ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit enables quantitative measurement of Monkey IFN gamma through a colorimetric workflow. The microplate is pre-coated with a capture antibody specific to the target protein. Standards and appropriately diluted samples are added to the wells and incubated to allow the target analyte to bind. After washing, a biotinylated detection antibody specific to a different epitope is added, forming a sandwich complex. HRP-conjugated Streptavidin and TMB substrate are then introduced to produce a colorimetric reaction, which is stopped with an acidic solution and read at 450 nm on a microplate reader.

The kit has a reported sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a measurement range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Validated sample types include Serum, Plasma, Cell Culture Supernatant, Cell or Tissue Lysate, and Other Liquid Samples. The kit should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Reported synonyms for the analyte include IFN-gamma, IFNG, IFG, IFI, and Type II Interferon (Uniprot: P63309). Linearity for serum (n=5) at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions was 85-103%, 82-101% and 80-92% respectively; EDTA plasma was 90-103%, 88-96% and 85-94%; Heparin plasma was 90-105%, 82-98% and 80-97%. Recovery ranges were 95-102% (average 98%) for serum, 87-101% (average 93%) for EDTA plasma, and 90-102% (average 98%) for Heparin plasma.

The assay procedure involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody incubation at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and stop solution with absorbance reading at 450 nm.
