Monkey Galectin 3 (GAL3) ELISA Kit

Cardiac fibrosis, renal injury, and tumor progression research in non-human primate models often requires quantitative measurement of Galectin-3 (GAL3), a 26 kDa beta-galactoside-binding lectin, in cynomolgus and rhesus macaque specimens. This Assay Genie ELISA provides an in vitro microplate-based assay for quantitative determination of endogenous GAL3 across diverse sample types such as tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernatants, and liquid biopsy matrices of serum or plasma origin. The 96-assay format uses an absorbance read-out with a recombinant standard curve for interpolating unknown concentrations. Reagents are validated specifically for monkey reactivity to support reliable cross-species comparison in preclinical pharmacology and toxicology studies, and are intended for research use only.
