Monkey Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) ELISA Kit

This Assay Genie kit is configured for quantitative measurement of follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) in non-human primate samples, supporting reproductive endocrinology research in species such as cynomolgus and rhesus macaques. FSH is a pituitary glycoprotein gonadotropin that drives ovarian follicular development and testicular Sertoli cell activity, so its measurement underpins studies of menstrual cycle phasing, ovulation induction, contraceptive screening, and seasonal breeding patterns in captive primate colonies.

The assay uses a competitive binding configuration in which endogenous FSH in the sample competes with an enzyme-labelled FSH conjugate for binding to immobilised anti-FSH antibody. Because the readout decreases as analyte rises, this design handles the broad dynamic range encountered across follicular, luteal, and ovulatory phases. Each pre-coated microplate is supplied with lyophilised calibrators, detection conjugate, wash concentrate, chromogenic substrate, and stop reagent.
