Monkey EPO/Erythropoietin ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this colorimetric Sandwich ELISA Kit enables the precise measurement of erythropoietin (EPO) levels in monkey samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. EPO is a key hormone that regulates red blood cell production and is essential for maintaining oxygen delivery to tissues, and abnormal levels have been associated with conditions such as anemia, chronic kidney disease, and cancer.

Using a double-antibody sandwich format, the kit offers a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a measuring range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. The procedure involves reagent equilibration, a primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after adding stop solution. Recovery ranges from 88-104% (average 98%) in serum, 86-105% (average 94%) in EDTA plasma, and 85-103% (average 96%) in heparin plasma, and the kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
