Monkey Cystatin C ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of cystatin C in monkey samples. The double-antibody sandwich format supports detection of cystatin C, a protein involved in regulating cysteine proteases and protease balance, with research applications linked to kidney disease, cardiovascular disease, and neurodegenerative disorders.

The kit is compatible with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Linearity for serum is 82–97%, 89–101% and 81–96% at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions; EDTA plasma shows 85–103%, 85–93% and 95–104%; heparin plasma shows 90–102%, 92–101% and 83–100%. Average recovery is 94% for serum, 94% for EDTA plasma and 95% for heparin plasma. Absorbance is read at 450 nm after TMB substrate development, and the kit should be stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.
