Monkey CRP ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of C-Reactive Protein (CRP) in monkey samples, this Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody detection method with colorimetric readout. The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Performance characteristics stated by the manufacturer include a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and an assay range of 1.563–100 ng/mL. The protocol uses a biotin-labeled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) with TMB substrate, and absorbance is read at 450 nm. Reported linearity for serum ranges from 96–103% at a 1:2 dilution to 81–96% at 1:8, with recovery in serum of 87–103% (average 94%). The kit is intended for research applications including the study of inflammation, immune response, and disease progression in monkey models, and should be stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.
