Monkey Connexin 43 (CX43) ELISA Kit

Quantitative in vitro measurement of Connexin 43 in non-human primate samples is supported by this immunoassay kit from Assay Genie. Connexin 43, encoded by the GJA1 gene, is the dominant gap junction channel protein in working myocardium and ventricular tissue, where it governs cell-to-cell electrical coupling and coordinated contraction. In macaque and cynomolgus models, CX43 expression is frequently monitored in ischemic-reperfusion injury, arrhythmia mechanism studies, glial signaling work, and ocular lens or epidermal wound-healing investigations.

Validated across a panel of sample matrices including tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and culture supernatants, the kit is supplied with all reagents required to perform 96 determinations. The protocol follows standard microplate incubation and washing steps and is read on a conventional plate reader.
