Monkey CG beta/Chorionic Gonadotrophin Beta ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of Chorionic Gonadotrophin Beta (CGβ, also known as β-CG) using a double antibody, colorimetric detection method. The kit is reactive with monkey and accepts serum, plasma and other biological fluids as sample types.

Key performance specifications include a standard range of 0.781-50ng/ml and a sensitivity of < 0.469ng/ml. Final absorbance is read at 450nm following addition of TMB substrate and stop solution. The kit is shipped on ice packs and should be stored at 2-8°C for 6 months, with the expiration date printed on the kit label.

The assay follows a quantitative sandwich ELISA workflow in which samples, standards and controls are added to pre-coated wells, followed sequentially by a biotin-labelled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin Conjugate (SABC). After washing steps, TMB substrate is added and a blue colour develops; stop solution terminates the reaction and the resulting yellow signal is read at 450nm, with intensity proportional to the amount of bound analyte.
