Monkey CA2 (Carbonic Anhydrase 2) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the precise measurement of Carbonic Anhydrase 2 (CA2) levels in monkey samples. Compatible with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, the assay delivers a sensitivity of 1.875 ng/mL and a detection range of 3.125–200 ng/mL.

CA2 is an enzyme that plays a key role in maintaining acid-base balance and is involved in biological processes including bone resorption, calcification, and pH regulation. Dysregulation of CA2 has been linked to osteoporosis, renal tubular acidosis, and glaucoma, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and potential therapeutic interventions.

Using a double-antibody sandwich format with biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin, and TMB substrate in a colorimetric workflow, the assay is read at 450 nm and the kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
