Monkey Apolipoprotein E/Apo-E ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is intended for the quantitative detection of monkey apolipoprotein E (APO-E). It is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and uses a double antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection. Reported sensitivity is 3.75 ng/mL, with a working range of 6.25–400 ng/mL.

Apolipoprotein E is a key protein in lipid metabolism, involved in the transport and clearance of cholesterol, and abnormalities in APO-E levels have been associated with cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer's disease, and obesity. The kit is supplied with reagents for the assay procedure, including TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Reagents should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. Linearity and recovery data are provided for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across multiple dilutions.
