Monkey alpha FP/Alpha-Fetoprotein ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the precise measurement of Alpha-Fetoprotein levels in monkey samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The double-antibody assay offers a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and a detection range of 1.563–100 ng/mL. Alpha-Fetoprotein is a protein involved in fetal development and liver function, and abnormal levels can indicate liver disease, certain cancers, and other health conditions, making this kit a useful biomarker research tool.

Linearity in serum (n=5) was 88–97% at 1:2, 97–101% at 1:4, and 83–98% at 1:8; in EDTA plasma (n=5) 85–104%, 84–100%, and 93–100%; in heparin plasma (n=5) 85–102%, 84–101%, and 80–98%. Recovery ranged from 85–103% in serum (average 97%), 92–102% in EDTA plasma (average 98%), and 87–104% in heparin plasma (average 95%). The kit is intended for use with monkey samples and should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
